
S.G: « Son of a pastry chef, I was trained as an interior designer and I worked for about 20 years in the shop layout.
I have collaborated with many international brands and private customers in food industry. I strive for a high quality work in order to reach the perfection. It has to remain in a partnership spirit. »
Why did you choose to work in relation with catering trade professional?
S.G: « In a logical way, I went in for catering trade field. Indeed, I’ve designed buildings of multinational food processing industry. During those constructions, the strictness and the hygiene compliance were essential. I was the instigator for the rot proof and easy to clean materials establishment.
With my significant experience, I learned quickly the real problems of the catering trade: functionality, ergonomics and hygiene. »
When did you start working for AMC?
S.G: « I joined AMC in 2002. From the very first visit of our customer’ bakery; all the scents, the atmosphere made spatter my childhood memories. This nostalgia feeling encourage me to go for the quest of the Holy Grail- offer a refrigerated display in harmony with our clients ‘masterpieces and passion. The revelation came up to me on catering trade shows. The display must disappear and sublimate our client’s creations. »
How does AMC work?
S.G: « AMC turned towards a complete integration of the refrigerated display construction by bringing together 10 essential specialties. Located in Jarville-la -Malgrange, this production unit enables us:
- Reactivity- exceptional- compared to the short construction delays.
- Flexibility for the achievement of the refrigerated and avant-gardist displays.
- The control of our production costs.
- Creation of customized displays with the « made in France » precision and fineness. »
Which investments does AMC undertake for its national and international development?
S.G: « AMC has become “a brand” recognized by the best catering trade professionals. So, I invest in new digital machines to produce display which combines high quality and excellence. We are committed in certifications and labeling. We work with universities and health organizations to carry on with testing our display’s temperature for an optimal preservation.
AMC’ development goes through its image. A new logo and our web site reinforce AMC on the international scene. »
What are the AMC projects for the next years?
S.G: « The projects of AMC are based on the research and development, the avant-gardism and preservation performances of our refrigerated displays. We shall stay on the customization and the adaptation of displays on new markets.
Tomorrow, we wish to democratize the unique point of sale by offering refrigerated modular satellites to our customers.
Where will be AMC in 10 years’ time?
S.G: « AMC will stay in France for its production but our brand will be everywhere in the world with our many partners. »
